As part of Emily’s legacy we’re supporting the building of a Bone Marrow Transport Ward, where she had hoped to work one day. This will help give patients dignity and access to toilets while in isolation – and will be the main focus of our fundraising this year.
In support of this cause there are a number of events planned throughout the year:-
- BRONAFON – Summer staff quiz in aid of Emily Clark’s legacy: Friday 17 June
Come and join us for another fantastic night out in June for a great cause
Show off your general knowledge, have some fun and help us to raise funds, which will go toward rebuilding a new transplant wing at Heath Hospital in Cardiff, where Emily was treated.
The quiz will take place at Greenlawn Social Club, New Inn on Friday 17 June from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Entry fee per person is £3.50 (all proceeds will go to the charity). No more than four per team (friends and family can take part in your team). Small prizes for the winners.
The brilliant, Anthony Fish, has very kindly offered to be quiz master.
If you would like to take part, please give your money and team name to Vicki Morgan-Curtis no later than Friday 3 June.
All kinds of fund raising events are being planned to get more money for the cause. Look out for sponsored walks, a gin tasting event, major charity ball at the Celtic Manor on 22 October and many others.
